Inter Miami
Inter Miami CF, or Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami, is a professional soccer club based in the Miami metropolitan area. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), the highest level of professional soccer in the United States and Canada.
The team was announced as an MLS expansion team in January 2018, with play beginning in the 2020 season. The club is co-owned by a group of investors including former professional soccer player David Beckham, who used a franchise option he had negotiated into his contract when he played for the LA Galaxy in the MLS.
Inter Miami plays its home matches at DRV PNK Stadium (formerly known as Inter Miami CF Stadium and Lockhart Stadium) located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, plans are underway to move the team to a new stadium named Miami Freedom Park in Miami, although the move has faced several legal and logistical hurdles.
As with any sports team, the club's performance and roster can change rapidly, so for the most up-to-date information about Inter Miami CF, it would be best to check the latest sports news or the team's official website.
